I have just bought an old spoke shave (stanley 51) off ebay i have duly sharpened the blade (30degrees) for my first spokeshaving experience. Off i go..... It just jumps all over the place, i can chamfer edges but anything else it just bounces along. I was hoping to even out a bandsaw curve but...

i have the sip and it has been very good. However my depth set was plastic and pushing to hard i rammed the metal screw through it. Bit of a design flaw but east to fix. owen

I have the same snader. The dust extraction fitting from the bosch blue sanders 150ace (random orbitor) fits it fine and this is a standard round fitting. But it needs a good stong vacume to be really effective

I had a freud jigsaw from screwfix variable speed 700watt it was awfull. Even with good blades it would not track true. It had loads of power but was just amazing inaccurate in the end i sold it on ebay (sorry whoever got hat) my dads £15.00 B and D is better. I can't believe this is true for...
