I have been cutting homemade strips of veneer 2mm by 10mm and upto 300mm long, to form a mitred border around a door for decoration.

Very nice, Its got a very modern feel about it, It is always usefull to see work in progress shots and it is reassuring to know that other people have doubts about design too.

I don't know, it just doesn't get me excited i can,t imagine i would ever have anywhere to put that piece. I would imagine it would need a very ceratin type of environment not to look out of place.

I have the bosch sander, its hooked up to the festool dust extractor. Its a good sander but it does not get all the dust (backing up scrit there) i got mine cheap of ebay new for £80 quid so i can't complain. I have it used it quite a bit recently and i have had no problems with vibrations etc...
