    MFT router table

I’m converted it to a lift. I used a rockler router plate it’s was the cheapest by far at £35, My router is a dewalt 626 so different from the 625 but I’m sure you could do something like mine.

    Jigsaws

I would but really can’t justify the £500 price tag and they hold there money well 2nd hand. FFX had the Trion for £200 few weeks ago

    Portable out feed table

Thanks I had lots of time last year. I have more projects to post but don’t want to bombard the forum all at once

    Jigsaws

Am I correct that the Trion has the same ceramic blade tensioner as the Carvex? As intend to use long blades when it’s inverted I need something to help keep the blade true.

    Portable out feed table

Made a out feed table for a dewalt de7492 table saw Simply hooks on saw frame and the top locates on 4 10mm dowels. The brackets screw onto the top for transport

    Jigsaws

Well i had a Bosch GST100 BCE it served me well for nearly 20 years but lent it to someone and they fecked it up. Also have Dewalt 18v DCS335 for eveyday use. So I’m in the market for a 110v one for my mft to use inverted. Obviously if I had an unlimited budget I would go for the Mafell P1CC...

Help me out of this situation! Broken insert

Don’t suppose you got them from Screwfix? Yes definitely made of cheese, less metal in them than the last lot I brought about 15 years ago. I found that countersink the pilot hole slightly seams to stop the flange from breaking

Help me out of this situation! Broken insert

Done the exact same thing last week and used screw extractor to good effect as Porker suggested. I got these from Screwfix https://www.screwfix.com/p/bolt-extractor-set-5-pieces/1112v

    Down draft table

Nice one Pete for the numbers, looked at my extractor specs and it only flows 66cfm so that equates to 0.099 square metres that would only be 300mm square table it’s a little small. Really wanted one roughly 600x1000 in size. So I guess I need a larger capacity extractor

    8x4 sheet cutting table

They are all good ideas gents. Think I’m gonna go for is cut 30mm off the top and glue 10mm dowels in to the bench part and attach 30x18 with corresponding holes. I will make a drilling jig to make replacements in the future.

    8x4 sheet cutting table

Yeah definitely another good idea but maybe with dowels or dominos instead of screws as I can be lax in adjusting the depth of saw cut, ruined a few to many blades over the years

    Down draft table

I’m thinking of making one but only have high pressure dust extractor do not sure if will be sufficient. So anyone made one and using high pressure extractor

I see now the cam has a 20mm hole as well

    MFT Table Best Accessories

I like the idea definitely gonna make a couple, what did you use as the pivot that sits in the 20mm hole

    8x4 sheet cutting table

Although it’s a good idea it still makes the individual parts wider therefore wouldn’t fit in the gap in the van where I put the bench when flat packed. So with what design I go with needs to be no more than 18mm wide. I was initially thinking a dovetail along the edge with corresponding groove...

    8x4 sheet cutting table

Thanks I think your on to something there I could take some 18mm dowel turn one end down to 10mm like a top hat to place into 10mm holes in the edge of the table

    8x4 sheet cutting table

I have used that approach before it can get quite messy and definitely don’t smell that good either. It lives in my van and is only set up as and when I need it outside so storing a sheet of insulation in my small workshop or van would impact on my available space
