    LED lights

Look at led panels. I find the light from these much better than tubes. Not in the sense that they are brighter (which they are) but the light is better defused. I bought from toolstation but some here have found much cheaper sources. Edit: just 'got' the shap :)

    Workshop hardware

First thing you will need is a bench, don’t try to make a posh one, all you need is strong and sturdy with no racking. After a while you can use your new skills and knowledge to build a posh bench on this first attempt. buy kit as you progress.

Bit of a bodge but good results

I have recently been laying laminate flooring I did quite a good job of it, even if I do say so myself! I was unable to make a perfect fit around the door frames in every instance. I was thinking about how I could fix these and then realised I had some high temperature friction turning wax...

Recommended fixing suppliers: Nuts and bolts.

Most towns have a fasteners retailer, it's just a matter of tracking them down. In my experience they are located in a grubby trading estate and are the nearest modern thing to a "fork handles" store.

    Struggling With Motivation

I made a box 40 years ago, the dove tails were a disgusting sight, but it made a solid box and I store my masonry bits in it. For the past 6 months it has been in almost daily use. To be honest, the boxes I make now are not much better  Regarding your assignments, print out a copy and...
