Robert Sorby captive ring tool - how to make it work!

I wasn't being negative, and will use it again if I do more captive rings. I was just pointing out I am no expert. It only cost me the price of the actual tip as I made my own handle and shaft.

Robert Sorby captive ring tool - how to make it work!

I have one and I have only used it once. I did most of the cut with a fine skew and then used the tool as a scraper, to shape and tidy up the ring surface. Whilst slowly creeping up on the rear to break away the ring.

    Storing lumber vertically?

As a Leicestershire cricket fan, who fancied himself as a wicketkeeper, back in the 1980's, I feel quite chuffed you might think that I am he.

    Storing lumber vertically?

Write one hundred lines: In the United Kingdom, we use timber. Americans use lumber.:mad:;)

    WD 40

I once saw the aftermath of when someone sprayed WD40 on a live microswitch, so I'm not surprised the rig folks got a bit shirty.
