We bought a house to fill with hand made furniture

I think what he is trying to replicate is someone who has just bought a house and desires to fill it all with furniture of their own making. So they'll be able to design it specifically for where it's going to be located. So there will be design aspects to the videos as well I suppose. Can't...

How to hang an MDF sign board on a swinging bracket?

Are you planning on screwing into the frame or the MDF? MDF is quite heavy at that size. Maybe try a few of these types of picture hooks? With two screws per hook, and 2 hooks, thats 4 screws. Or maybe 3-4 hooks? so 8 screws?

Recommend a dash cam (with rear camera)

Well. Having spoken with a few colleagues who have had incidents all from the rear, I think it's probably worth doing.

Recommend a dash cam (with rear camera)

I've always had a front facing camera, but am now looking to replace what I have with a kit that contains both front and rear. Having a look at Amazon there is a huge amount of choice, but pretty much all the reviews suggest the same thing, the rear camera is always junk as the resolution is too...

First Table Saw (Scheppach HS105 Purchased + Review)

In regards to slop with mitre gauges. If your saw happens to have a 19mm slot, these work very well. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-11-8-17-7 ... _42wBfJyrg

Joining birch ply carcasses - do I need screws?

A lot of the strength/rigidity comes from when you apply the backing. Depending on scale, glue might be fine.

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

As mentioned previously, I have tried the two stick method, so am not short of push sticks :) That is the bit I am having trouble understanding. I don't see how you can control that last stage due to the shape of the stick. I guess what you're refering too can be seen @2:09 in that video, ...

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

Right - so your 2nd push stick is effectively doing what this featherboard is doing. Although your push stick can also apply pressure downwards, it's not really needed as the blade is spinning down. [Not my photo] As soon as you pass that point though, the piece can still rotate or lift up...

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

Don't get me wrong, I've tried using two push sticks plenty of times, and each time I'v come away thinking that I had less control than using one (with my left hand pusing the piece against the fence (far away from the blade)). One of the main problems I have with them, is when cutting narrow...

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

That was just a random image from google to show the type of push stick. Ignore anything else in the image :P

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

Its a safety issue. Id like to think people would still help out in that regard. Despite them having disagreements with what I might have said on an unrelated topic. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

Can you explain why the featherboards are a bad idea? It would be similar to the jessem guides, although admittedly not as good, as they would only supply downwards pressure, where as the jessem guides also supply sidewards pressure. Sent from my SM-J510FN using Tapatalk

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

Still doesn't look right to me. I've watched the videos, and he is using the second stick to try and push the board against the fence, with the tip of the stick. It just doesn't seem as though he has much control. https://youtu.be/ZkvO99lswZg?t=176 Having a small featherboard attached to the...

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

Care to explain why? ..which is what I was asking

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

Not sure how that helps. The second push stick will be supporting the offcut, not the piece that is lifting between the blade and fence

How to watch a Prime video on my tv

The fact that they got rid of the rating system tells you all you need to know :) Everything would have 1 star :p

    Featherboards with the tablesaw

I like to use the long type of push stick, as it enables you to finish the cut with your hand still in front of the blade. I am not comfortable with other types as they mean you're reaching over the blade. One of the problems with long push sticks is that you only have pressure at the front of...

How to watch a Prime video on my tv

I have both Netflix and Amazon Prime (mainly for the PP) I very rarely even look at Amazon Prime video, nothing ever interests me. Netflix suffers from the quantity over quality issue. Lots of content, but its mostly junk. Although every now and then, there are some gems in there.
