No im open to anything. iv used polyurethane and lacquerers before, The epoxy coats like glaze do give a high build finish equivalents to 70 coats of varnish in on application which is nice its really the look im after. what would you suggest in the varnish or lacquer range in the UK ?

Hi there Have a look at Scott and Sergeant web site (sorry i cant post the link) they have a iTech 4HP motor cast iron top for under 1000. hope this helps
