    VFD help please [Solved]

No thank you and everyone else for the help! ill check them out as i do definitely want to build a new "pendant" being that i can't afford £100 for one off the shelf. I have a pot that sounds very similar but its 20k and looks like i would probably ruin it trying to open it and replace the chip...

    VFD help please [Solved]

@Sideways Absolute star, you got it spot on; i had max speed set to 50rpm 😂 Somehow every time i read it, i read "if 10=0" but its "if 10>0"... Its working just fine now! That said the pot does need replacing as it still does nothing but thats easy enough thank you ever so much again

Thanks for all the advice everyone The HZ are set to 50.. The settings shown are the non-adjustable params when its moving and just show the power/speed etc the motor is moving at. 1 + 2 are set to HZ value as long as 10 is set to the RPM value;1390.The pot is the right size, i had a look at...

    VFD help please [Solved]

I'm not sure about it showing an error if the motor, i would assume so but definitely something wrong and no error codes at all..yet..so fingers crossed its something cheaper to deal with ! I will do a param reset in the morning and try that, i have another potentiometer on the way too to give...

    Wadkin routers

Afternoon, I'm looking for some information on the controls for the Wadkin routers for anyone that has one; is there much to them or a box with on, off and speed? I've been looking for a decent used router for a while to convert an AGS10 to a router table and am considering the viability of...

You know when you spot something on ebay, listed wrongly and think you're on to a winner.

Sometimes it just happens.. about 8 months ago i found a Wadkin BGS12, misnamed, mis spelt and with only a few terrible pictures on the bay.. Managed to get it for £300 but the guy called the next day to let me know the boss had leased out the whole yard, machines inc, and we was taking...

    Pillar drill

I missed one of these local for £30 a few days ago  I'd say around £200 in that condition max though. The price they have is ebay prices with fee's considered etc and better condition in general..

Note to self; stop buying big things!

Anyone else have eyes bigger than their shed or is this just a me issue? 😂 Picked up a union graduate today and its not till you get home you think about where it goes.. Sometimes the price is just to good to say no; the only kind of price i can afford for a hobby! Building something bigger...

    Welder advice

As others have said it really depends on what you want to weld.. I picked up a 180 oxford oil cooled stick unit for £30, its a workhorse, they last for ever and i would highly recommend them but i dont dont do any bodywork or sheet material; would melt it if i did.
