Wanted Any old 100mm-125mm clear chip/dust ducting

Looking for any old 100-125mm clear chip/dust extraction ducting thats been replaced etc. Ideally 5m+ Its for the ferrets so spending for new one the auction site is a bit useless, it'll be clawed at and chewed immediately and i'd give it a good clean on arrival either way. Given how it...

Its been a little while as the shed reaches 50+ degrees this time of year and its unbearable to go in but i have had it apart, gave it all a basic clean and go things set up and in place until i can get a puller for the arbor pulley to replace the bearings so its a little progress. Today i...

AGS 10 not holding a blade in place

I think the one it came with has been brought i just didn't realise and used it as a washer on the other end 😅 I will buy a few new ones along with blades though as its ever so slightly off and the blade is able to move by 0.5mm so im guessing 5/8 arbor, 16mm adaptor. Seems fine for...

AGS 10 not holding a blade in place

Turns out the blade that came with it wasn't sized right but the previous owner had used a spacer to center the blade and i had used it as a washer the pulley nut on the other end so problem averted, though ill be buying some correctly sized blades asap now

AGS 10 not holding a blade in place

Have i dropped a part such as a washer or put something together wrong here as it isn't locking the blade in place. Its the blade that came with the saw and it fit right before but not now. The blades bore dia., i believe, matches the inner raised areas of the parts on both sides but neither...

    Machinery maintenance; which lubricants ?

Afternoon all, I've been looking around online this morning and the information is very diluted and opinions very varied so i'm hoping i can get some concise advice and it would be very much appreciated. What types of lubricants should be used for different parts of workshop machinery ? I have...

    Moving 250kg lathe.

Depending where you are in Poole and how stuck you get with it i might be able to stop in and give a hand as im just down the road. If its just 6 inches, depending on which end your moving it might not be so difficult, you should be able to lift the tailstock end and swivel it easily as most of...

    Thinking of an arc welder...

One more vote for the oxford, if you don't need to take it places to work often ie. farm repairs or mobile welding, etc they are great for the money and last longer than us

How many of you would enter a tools raffle/?

afternoon, This is not necessarily something i'm thinking of running here specifically but a small survey to start gathering numbers and averages for a possible idea. The long and short of it is due to personal reasons i do what i can to get by outside of offices and workplaces full of people...

    Another Wadkin AGS10" thread

I've found my first and it looks like only real problem if anyone has any ideas. The rise/fall turnwheel is wedged; it seems like someone previously hit it with something heavy and got the star-knob very wedged. The handle looks to have been broken and glued back on at all three "spokes" which i...

    Another Wadkin AGS10" thread

Had to wait till today today go and pick up the pulley as they had to machine it for me last night but it fit perfect and it was nice to see they took the time to make sure it was balanced.! I would have just put the motor on and had it running until the bearings arrived but i had to move the...

    Wadkin bursgreen ags

@Ttrees was correct, about mine at least, it was 380/400 Δ (delta) so bothering to find the other ends of the windings would only have succeeded in giving me 680/800w Star and your appears to be the same. You can find inverters and converters that will do the job but be prepared to pay more...
