    Noise levels in my workshop

I use IEM's or decent noise cancelling headphones, I dont see why I should compromise sound quality in the name of safety :)

    Floating shelf

Id imagine a lot depends on the materials used and construction. if you made a frame with an 18mm top which is glued/screwed along the back edge to the cleat, then once in place fix the bottom panel it could work. trouble is all the weight is hanging on one edge. normally most french cleat...

Workbench tops what material HDF?? MDF Ply

fantastic! thank you, i just plugged in the profile in aluminium-profile.co.uk and it only comes out 666 (work of the devil?) so im guesing with fasteners and castors it should come out a similar price.....saves me having to build a workbench :)

    Dust Extractor

well the bandsaw has dual 4's so ill use a 5>4 "Y" connector, the PT is an axi 260spt, not sure i can make that bigger, its certainly not the best Pt in terms of extraction though :(

    Dust Extractor

currently sourcing 5" hose and fittings, although i'm interested as to how much will be lost when reducing it back to 4" at the machines. the B-flux actually performs really well, the only reason i'm selling it is because i now have 4 extractors lol

    Wish list.

a smaller *****, failing that a bigger space and a myriad of machinery :ROFLMAO:

    Dust Extractor

Numbers on extractors are pure fantasy, you seem to be heavily caught up in them though. what is your budget ? just buy good quality, I bought a Laguna B-Flux which is awesome, then thinking I need more power I bought a 2hp because i didn't want to use a broom.....spoiler, it made very,very...

    Gorilla glue

I wouldn't know, i have never used PU glue, although I recently bought a bottle of Morells but its yet to be opened :)

    Dust extractor fittings above 4"

from my understanding, above 4" metal is the way to go, smoother transitions at the joints etc, but I think it also needs earthing and sealing.

    Gorilla glue

Theres a video by "gid joiner" on the yootoob about this, he caps the end and then inverts the botle, it essentially seals it up, and then next time hes ready to use it, it just pops out like a plastic skin

    Dust extractor fittings above 4"

bloody fantastic! well that just fixed my 1st world problem, ill get ordering, cheers.

    Dust extractor fittings above 4"

they are all metal for duct pipe, im just looking for plastic fittings for flex pipe, I dont see any value in ducting for my small space, might give them a call though to see if its the sort of thing they do
  19. C

    Dust extractor fittings above 4"

they have hose, which is the easiest bit to find the real issue is finding the fittings of which they don't have on their website
