    Numatic NVD750 (Axminster) cyclone accessory

That maybe the problem with that system. Before this i was using a CTL midi with a separate cyclone that had a plastic garden bag. all the waste went into that and whatever tiny amount was left over went to the midi which had a filter bag installed. When the cyclone filled up, i just pull the...

    Numatic NVD750 (Axminster) cyclone accessory

Ah I see, I just use a lunchbox PT and with the 100mm yesterday it performed really well and as its a tiny space I dont have the luxury of multiple units for different jobs. Ideally im just trying to get less faff with filters and bags with the least amount of space required.

    Numatic NVD750 (Axminster) cyclone accessory

Ah yes I saw they had a cyclone machine, but I couldn't find whether its something that can be bought as an accessory. I have scoured the usual places but to no avail. I'm wondering if i even need to use the bags in their traditional sense and just use the 100mm with step down for...

    Numatic NVD750 (Axminster) cyclone accessory

I was thinking about using the Thicknesser on the 100mm inlet and the smaller inlet for Table saw/router table/sanders/domino etc. I was thinking that using a cyclone on the 51mm inlet as I do with the CTL midi would be a lot less faffing with bags and filters. This is my first dual purpose...

    Numatic NVD750 (Axminster) cyclone accessory

Does anyone know if someone makes an inline cyclone for this dust extractor? I just got one of these yesterday to replace my CTL Midi and ideally would like something inline instead of a separate cyclone box. I see they have something for another of their vacuums, but im not seeing anything...

A damn fine cutting board, I haven't made any end grain ones yet, but when i do make cutting boards they seem to disappear off to other peoples houses before i get a chance to use any. I'm thinking whether I could disguise a bandsaw by putting a mirror in front of it or something. Before I had...

The only one I can see in the UK isn't a benchtop, it's the 1200 which comes in at 82Kgs :/ and not glowing reviews. review-of-makita-lb1200f-305mm-12-bandsaw-t97885.html. My biggest problem as I said is space, I literally have a 7x7 resin shed which contains an MFT, Bosch XC10, Makita...

I thank you sir, I also prefer the darker one, and Zebrano is a bugger to work with as it seems brittle and like to blow out and splinter. Id love a bandsaw to make bigger panels instead of having to intentionally use the tablesaw to resaw smaller widths, but i just don't have the space :(

    polishing osmo polyx ?

Hi All, Im a big fan of polyx, but i want to achieve a glassy finish on some boxes. what are thoughts about 3-4 coats then polishing with some festool polishing agent? would that achieve the high gloss result im looking for? Do you have any other recommendations for polishing compound or...

    Cyclones

without meaning to take the thread too far off topic. Ive got a Titan shop vac (used for sander, router and floor cleaning, etc) and have been meaning to sort out a cyclone for ages. Would this combination work on a lunchbox thicknesser if I used a 2.5" hose to the cyclone? At the moment, I...
