    Sold Veritas MKII honing guide

Just to give a little back. Pickup or pay postage seems fair, UK only as im too lazy to deal with international postage. Its only been used once or twice and has box and instructions.

    Where to buy...

...Jet tools in the UK? It seems Axminster don't really do much, Poolewood i think has 1 item (on backorder) and apart from that their extractors aren't that easy to come across :/

The Chop, Sky History (Sky 123)Thuesday 15th 9:00

So i just flicked through this show on YT and the "nutter" in question seems like a decent bloke, giving the coloured guy a hug, that isn't something a white supremacist would dream of. but what do i know...........burn the witches?

    minimal thickness floor insulation?

i didnt even think of that. it might be something to go on top of the chipboard, but i reckon if i put down poly then 25mm celotex followed by 22mm chipboard it might keep the place a bit warmer for longer.

    minimal thickness floor insulation?

oh its going to be a PITA, hence easier the better. It will mean putting everything one end, doing half the floor, then moving it all to the other end. opening the garage door is a non starter as its blocked and sealed with a stud wall......probably should have done this before i got the...

    minimal thickness floor insulation?

Thanks for the response, I was thinking it may have to be celotex+22 T&G chipboard...that stuff is soo damn expensive and winter is coming at the wrong time ;) There is a DPM that runs around the edges of the garage internally and the humidity isn't very high surprisingly. Im definitely...

    minimal thickness floor insulation?

Hi Chaps, So moving on from the ceiling which ended up being 100mm rockwool sound insulation slab and 11mm OSB3, its time to tackle the floor. It's flat, it's dry and it's concrete. I use my garage to work in all day at the computer and find my feet are freezing after a couple of hours and I...

    how to achieve this finish?

Its only for projects, I normally use osmo, but i have a side table and tv cabinet i made in white oak that I want to refinish and i really like the look of it. i guess monocoat it's the easiest way without all the fuss of lots of processes. I did try a white spirit stain but it didn't come...

    how to achieve this finish?

afternoon fine people, This is Rubio monocoat white cotton, is there any (simple) way to achieve look this without the expense of monocoat? for example i presume a liming wax would wear off and so is not as durable? I also imagine you cant put a protective layer on top of a wax....because...

    INCRA Miter Gauge 1000HD

I do agree that the HD is probably overkill, I have seen glue ready cuts from a bandsaw so if nothing else im chasing the dream and seeing what other uses I can find for it, I could also use it on the router table.....and im not discounting a new table saw in the future ;) the mitre slot is...

    INCRA Miter Gauge 1000HD

Are these any good for bandsaw use? I see they can be setup on the right which would be useful.
