190mm Circular Saw blade for Plywood

I would go for a Freud (good value) 48 tooth blade. Should give you a nice finish. when running sheet goods through my table saw, I often cut oversize to start and trim to size when broken down to smaller, more manageable, pieces

Will it damage the motor on your table saw? I would have thought with the right blade you would be fine.

    What wood for shaker doors?

Thank for all the replies, I think I will go with tulipwood :) Poplar/tulipwood - good stability, on the softer side, light weight, low grain, takes paint well

    Bevel Box Advice

I’ve got a trend bevel box for the TS and it’s great for what I need. It may not be 100% accurate, but it’s a good starting point and you can always micro adjust after a test cut.

Bench Drill Opinions (SIP, or Bosch PBD40 - not vintage)

I’ve got the sip, cost £130 second hand and has proven to be a good buy. Yes changing speeds is a little involved but you can have it done in 30seconds so no major issue there.

    Lining a workshop/craft room

what kind of ply finish are you after? I think I would just use the correct thickness of ply to start with. Not sure how successful you would be gluing ply to osb. Is there much of a cost saving using osb & ply over just ply?

Woodworm.............. and how to remove chisel handles

I think if you are getting rid of 3 handles, doesn’t logic dictate you should get rid of all the handles? the worm holes tell you have had wood worm and they have dug their way out. It tells you the past not the future. What’s to say the beetles didn’t come out of one chisel and lay their eggs...

    Scribing to a stone wall

I put a couple of strips masking tape on the wall, top & bottom, to make sure you are offering up the piece to the same place each time. It can be a real pain if you slightly move your piece and it no longer fits :(
