    I have always found 9mm more than adequate for the sides and 6mm for the base I put a rebate on the ends of the sides to jig the front and back In place. Once glued up drawers are a very strong shape.

    If marketplace working for others, can it work for you? perhaps there are no good alternatives and marketplace is a good starting point. We have found insta to be great, but it all depends on your target market.

    Can you not get cheaper blades? I think mine cost around £15 a set, once I have planed all faces of my reclaimed timber once I flip the blades over and carry on.

    I’m no expert Rowan but that looks like a huge amount of work. re no. 10 -are the dents around the clock not nice patina you want to keep? If you are wanting the clock to look like new you may have an uphill fight.
