    In the interest of balance, i think it’s far better that second hand furniture gets repurposed and re-homed rather than falling out of fashion, sitting unused and finally tipped. Trends come and go, at some point in the future people will be stripping of the paint to reveal dark wood furniture...

    I would router a uniform shape out the door and patch in a piece of wood / ply. Loads of epoxy and it will be just fine

    I have a silver line pneumatic nailer and it does the job, probs a very similar machine to the draper previously mentioned. You can also manually retract the pin if holding it at an angle to trick it into firing!
