    Cordless drill conundrum

I got a twin pack of Ryobi drills 5 years and they are still going strong after daily use. Although not as refined a tool as a dewalt I can’t fault them. Additional bare unis are really cheap second (especially the blue units) making it afforordable to buy additional tools for a one off job...

Morning all, I often need to create shapes like the attached and usually freestyle the shape on paper first to work out something that looks right. It has got me thinking are there any books or online resources for these? Surely there are some patterns that have been worked out that fit with...

Hardwood faced plywood for a campervan worktop? Warping?

What would the weight difference be between your proposed solution and a solid hardwood worktop? Often when you cutout for your sink and stove there isn’t a huge amount of worktop left.

Router table safety jig sled type thing

Nice little jig there :) You could use ‘adjustable feet’, with the black plastic cone shaped base, some allow the base to swivel which would work particularly well.

    question about tape measure

My ‘favourite’ tape is now getting a little worn on the end and requires a +- 0.5mm correction depending on if you are measuring inside or outside. Like others have said you just need to know what your working with :)

    Dust extractor floor sweeper

Im not very good at sweeping up in my workshop, and when I do I will do it just before I leave to keep the dust down. So I’d like to get a sweep attachment to hoover up a large area instead of sweeping. There are some on the market, like the charminster attachment...

Removing Ronseal Diamond Hard Wax from Floorboards

Thanks for all the advise. The thought of scraping that many boards makes me think they are not right for my project. I will get some flooring without a hard wax finish! I know I can take a floorboard down in no time with my belt sander :)

Hi, I have found a source of reclaimed pine floorboards which I plan to reuse for a forthcoming project (circa 20m2) The floorboards are currently finished with Robseal Hard Wax which I will want to remove prior to reworking and finishing with Osmo Oil.
