    Trailer tyres!

That proves my point Bob. Caravans or any trailers are not allowed in the 3rd lane of any motorway and they should have been clobbered for it. Just as a matter of interest. My daughter got married in Paphos and one of our group asked someone which side of the road the Cypriots drive on? The...

    Trailer tyres!

We had 2 caravans and they both had AlKo stabilisers and Tyron wheel bands fitted. 3 Tyron bands, one on the spare too. Why? Because the AlKo stabiliser is the type that clamps on the tow hitch ball and very effectively increases stability and the Tyron bands fit on the wheel inside the tyre and...

    Trailer tyres!

No worries Bob. Phil, that's exactly my point. They can look fine, BUT!!! Before we moved over we had a caravan and I bought a cover for it. One of these breathable jobbies. Wheel covers came with it and they were used. In fact I still have the covers and spent an hour this morning looking for...

    Trailer tyres!

I forgot to add that the tyres will have degraded and loaded and on a long trip will get hot and will burst eventually. The caravan club recomend replacing caravan tyres after 5 years and shouldn't be used at all after 7 years! Just as well our trailer is lighter than a caravan?

    Trailer tyres!

Or any other tyres really. Yesterday we went and had the tyres on our trailer changed. They loked almost new, but they have been on there for about 14 or so years. The change was because of our move back to the U.K. I tokk the wheels off the trailer and into a local tyre place. The bloke asked...

    Other craft skills

I remember reading somewhere about a bloke who could turn water into wine, can't remember where I read it. Easy peasy, but I can turn it back into water. Beer as well and I do that most evenings. Probably this afternoon too as we are off out to lunch 8) 8)

    Photobucket

Not too sure that I ain't going mad here, but I just tried posting this on another forum to tell why all the PB photos have gone and I used the 1st photo that came to hand. This was the result "Some of you may have noticed if you use photobucket that the photos posted have been replaced with...

    Photobucket

Oh well, I spoke too soon, so photo bucket can stuff it as far as I am concerned. If they had given notice of the intention it may have been different? I have just tried to email a p/bucket link to myself and when I clicked on the link I had sent it told me that the page doesn't exist, so not...

    Photobucket

I put a photobucket photo on the other thread with no problems. That was about an hour ago. As far as the ads are concerned, I use https://adblockplus.org/ and https://www.ghostery.com/ and they stop the ads. I have them as Add-ons for Firefox and they are great.

Edit : - I tried this as a bit of an experiment and it is from my PB and seems to come up OK? At least when I first posted it. It's a candle mould. I wanted a red round candle?

    At last we have rain.

Rain? Oh yes, we had 3/4" yesterday and a bit more today. It stopped about an hour ago and the terrace is dry again now. Still, they have plenty up in the Black Mountains just north and they give us the water, so a nice agreement really

    Nice big-ish compressor for nowt!!

Scrap? Possibly to the lining of their pockets? Our bossman at the dechet is a good bloke and we are on 1st name terms. When we arrive he will take the fork off of SWMBO and help me unload our trailer. We leave stuff with him that we think may be useful to others and he makes sure it doesn't...

    Nice big-ish compressor for nowt!!

Yesterday we had a dechetterie (tip to you lot  ) run and just as we were leaving I saw a nice big-ish red compressor outside the office. People leave stuff there for anyone who can use it. I was told that the woman who bought it in just said it didn't work. So now I have a nice...
