    yes I would tend to agree but this fridge is sold as a life time product with a 25/30 year life and I think in this case it's a lack of engineers with knowledge of the product and only one place to go for spare who won't sell them to you. Repairs do appear to be a problem in other country's...

    yes your right Kenny is the only UK source, I think his the owner of Fhaiaba UK which now appears to be a one man band. His told me another part is on its way from Italy and he will be back next week to install it

    my workshop floor, well between the lathe and bench anyway is covered by a WW2 duck board from the bridge of a torpedo recovery vessel, note the three gear lever slots, not great stores a lot of wood chips but how could I get rid of that

    I'm going to contact the UK agent again to try and book a repair if that does not work I will go to the company in Italy and they will send me back to the Uk agent ( which I've done a few times before) and the merry go round starts again

    I was told by Aga I could have service on this fridge for life but then Aga sold out and passed the problem back to Fhiaba, we installed a Samsung freezer at the same time never gone wrong still going well thats a lesson
