    take a look at Timber Tec from CCC in the UK, Ive used this a lot on wooden sinks, outdoor tops, tables and all types of wood from pine to Teak will even take boiler water poured on it after a week

    Thanks, yes I agree about the H&S wear have used a petrol saw for a number of year, it was stolen a time back and now retired this one would just be for fire wood type stuff. Thanks Jim

    yes, unfortunately I'm old enough to remember when Philip's screws first came in to general use in woodworking, a lot of the old school then said the same but we was still made to put all the cross's upright

    I've not used slotted wood screws for a long time now, since I stopped antique restoration found them a bit of a pain, apart from fitting brassware where cross heads don't look right, (still put the slots in line with the grain like I was made too when apprenticed,) but clearing in the workshop...

    Hi Droogs, I've had two offers via ebay messages one at £55 and £70 both plus postage of £10.60, the £70 offer is from someone with no feedback rate so I'm a bit unsure on that one.
