    Using Vac without a bag

    I’ve got an old Tesco 1600w vacuum... using it with a £20 cyclone and a bin... It’s the best thing I’ve used....sucks it all..nothing in the hoover bin ..so filter is always clean.., Try it you won’t be sorry..,.i had to knock up a couple of adaptors but well worth effort

    Hazdent Machine Tools - big wood lathe project!

    Why don’t you find a local engineering firm... see if they will help out. Would be an easy job on a decent lathe...deep hole drilling and cnc machined morse taper... I am an ex turner .... it could be done with pulleys in situ...just take the whole spindle....

    I’d get rid of both... but a small barrel and a cyclone unit. Use a small vacuum and attach leads to cyclone and then from there to the tool. I use be in my garage... bandsaw....no dust.....wooodlathe....sucks the lot up...plus all the cra..p off floor...Goes into the barrel and next t nothing...

    Hi ditch....I reckon it’s the best way of sucking up all that dust...people tend to waste so much money on things that aren’t needed...my little bin works fine ..total for the lot...£60....vacuum was free

    I used the standard hose from hoover to cyclone ...then got a 5m standard 40ish mm hose which cane with 3 various connectors..I used an elastic band to take up the difference and bingo...nice tight fit..the one to the bandsaw needed a plastic collar to make fit...but boy does it suck the dust...

    Buy yourself a 30litre by and a cyclone ...and connect that to Henry. I’ve jus done this to an old Tesco hoover...dust from bandsaw...totally negligent...nothing n the hoover bin....everything in the blue bin..brilliant.

    What a brilliant idea this rag in the can is...I spent my working life in the aerospace industry and we used WD40 as a feeing agent , especially on old engine parts.

    Elu EBS 3401 Bandsaw

    Hello there .... I bought one of those last year..... agree with comments . It’s a great Machine. And yes it is two speed....I even found somewhere to buy replacement inserts where the blade runs through table.... Keep it clean and you should have no problems.,,,
