Treat yourself and search for vintage chisels….better steel better quality….and don’t be a silly billy….. use a mallet like normal woodworkers would.
just saying….l
I don’t have any of those…..I joined the Drummond users group…very helpful.

Hello all…. I wonder if anyone can tell me anything about Belco chucks…I know they were made in the UK…but very little info about them.

Hiyas... I would use a Swiss file thin to thick edge and just clear the front few threads...you can start by hand and then finish on a slow speed...ivedne this many times...
Steve
Hello... good thread... I wanted work trousers...and found some from site king.
I am 34 waist but short leg...28”..
Siteking had some 34 waist and 27 leg....£16....pls postage. The fit is excellent....and there warm. Wash very well....take a look
Ditto Keith rowley book....I started 2 years ago after retiring from engineering. Being an ex turner I wanted to try wood...so after being given an old sealey single tube lathe and spending £25 on some old gouges off gumtree...started to practise...
Eventually ended up buying an Axminster 355...
Hiyas ... I would give Frenchic paint a go.... possibly two coats ...I covered my electric box outside with it...looks brilliant...
It is water based with chalk and titanium content...
Hi and welcome....
Ex engineer here and now dabbling with woody bits....just remember.. erasure twice cut once.......hopefully not parts of the human body tho...
Steve from yate
