    what benchtop lathe for smaller items

    Hi there... I have jst bought an Axminster 355...sat on the bench and its great. My old lathe (Sealey single tube) had a 3/4 16 snout but the new one is M33. I paid £20 for record power adaptor and the chuck and old bits and bobs fit a treat. It also has a 1MT so you can use older centres and...

    Hi there I would say if you have problems with stock blades...(more likely cheap Chinese rubbish)....get in touch with tuffsaws....they will make custom blades or have a decent one to start with off shelf....they are reasonable too. It’s always better to get them made from quality steel.. Hope...

    Reclaimed black walnut

    Wow snetty.... I’d like to get my hands on some wood like that....would be nice to turn some of my ladies out of that....sadly I think the ash ....sycamore and hawthorn will have to suffice for now. By the way.....thanks for the Like.
