It could also be worn brushes on the motor depending on how much use it had had and if its been sitting damp. If it is then Amazon.co.uk . In the past I have found in motors one brush seems to wear faster than the other. I think its the negative side from memory. Hope you get it fixed.

Right should have just bought the evolution but been wasting time online found a schepach HM254 255mm. I believe they used to be good but what are they like now. Its only £140 including delivery.

Saw that as well but thought I would go with the bigger blade and power as I also have an old steading roof that needs a bit of attention. Rafters are 8x2 and a few need repaired or replaced . Have heard of evolution but never used any.

The best I have come across are umbrella fixings but I use them for light to medium weights. I If its heavy then try and find a good fixing into the wood workbehind the plasterboard. I dont think any of the plasterboard screwfixings would work..
