    Clarke cbs12wv bandsaw spares

I have/had quite a few Clarke machines but I’ve given up on them now and as soon as any machine needs parts I’ll replace it with a different brand with better service and part availability. As above, it takes months for parts to arrive and each phone call ends up costing around 6 quid on their...

Rutland 100mm cyclone dust collector kit DK7204

Hi all, I have been on the lookout for a 100mm cyclone (cyclone central) for ages with no luck so I have been running one of those 15 quid chinese 2" cyclones on top of a 60L barrel connected to a 1hp Clarke chip extractor for the last few years. 100mm from the extractor to the cyclone and the...

    Cordless mitre saws any good?

I'm quite surprised how good these batteries are. Both my router and planer run on 5Ah batteries and running time is exceptional.

    Cordless mitre saws any good?

Thanks all. Definitely ready to buy a cordless saw. I think I will have to stick with Makita as I've got about 17 - 18 18v batteries. The Makita takes 2 batteries so with two 5Ah it should be ok.

    Home workshop tools

I make personalised toy chests out f pine, lots of shelves and small furniture. I started about 8 years ago. Self thought and if you get stuck there's a lot of people on here that will help you out. I don't think there's many tools that I haven't got now after buying them over the years but the...

    Cordless mitre saws any good?

I'm not really ready for a new mitre saw as I purchased my Makita LS1018L only about 3 years ago but I keep looking at their cordless mitre saws. My workshop isn't very big and I have to set up the saw when needed as I don't have enough space to build a mitre station so on a daily basis I plug...

    Routers and guide bearings

I use a 1/4 router on all three of my dovetail jigs. Nothing special, just a 60 quid Clarke one from machine mart. The cutters I use are bearing guided dovetail cutters from Axminster. Easier to see what your doing as there's no guide bush in the way. Have been doing this for the last 7-8...

Virtual shopping at Wickes and B & Q

Especially when it's full of people buying compost or whatever. Essential is not a complex term to understand. Compost comes under essential items. You can’t buy non essential items at B&Q as you can’t add them to your basket.....
