    Dust extractor buying advice please.

Yes, it's only going to be used for my sanders so no need for a 100mm inlet. I already have two dust/chip collectors and a portable 5L extractor for everything else. Filtration isn't good enough on those for the dust coming off sanders.

Found this one. Looks similar. Anyone have any experience with either of these? https://www.drywall-emporium.com/sparky ... -361-p.asp

    New Dust Extractor

I've just bought a Fox F50-842 Filtration is not as good as above but you can change the filter bag with a better filter. 2hp gives you plenty of suck. There's also a 3hp model with two bags. I have replaced the on/off switch with a standard switch to be able to use a remote control as it...

    Built in units

Nice project. Did you use an undercoat/primer? I make candy carts now and then for weddings and they're a bit of a pain to paint.

    Noise

I have changed most of my tools to quieter ones over the last few years. Induction motors are nice and quiet. My table saw and dust extractors are very quiet so is the bandsaw. Routers and sanders are pretty loud but I can't find a way round them. I don't start working until 9am and stop...

    Routing Letters

I made something similar a few years back but in all fairness I don't use it ever. I used it a few times when I first made it and made a series of followers for it but now it's just in the way and doesn't get used.

    Fox F50-842 2hp dust extractor

http://www.fox-machines.com/en/fox-mach ... f=49&p=241 Bought one of these about a month ago and I'm very impressed. I've used it for a week inside the shed but decided to make a lean to outside the shed for it to live in as it's fairly big. I'm running 100mm pipe through the wall to...

    router table

You're welcome. As you already have a router table making the new fence will be a doddle. One thing to keep in mind is the height of the fence, particularly the height of the T-track as if this is too high the feather boards will not come down enough. The minimal gap under my feather boards is...
