    Feel like picking up a few bits from Peter Seftons shop. Some lovely stuff there. The main page currently says 5% off, but ends June 17th. Anyone know if this is a mistake and the page should be changed? Cannot see the 5% being applied at checkout

    Thanks so much. I went to Stoney CNC in Dublin today. Saw their I2R with a water cooled spindle. Looks quite sturdy although it would want to be for over 8k euro. I’d have no doubt that if I went for it, I’d be well supported by Stoney after sales, but I am not sure if it’s good value for money...

    Hi all So there’s a sea of books catering for the beginner woodworker, there’s the likes of Les Goring 1st / 2nd fix carpentry books for construction sites, and Krenov for the master craftsmen. What I can’t find is any book or resource on commercial panel work; wardrobes, alcove units, etc...

    Nice. I will be running power from an adjacent shed. I will drill through the wall of the existing shed. Not sure how to bury the SWA under the foundations of the existing shed

    I like Mike Gs method of using concrete lintels and a suspended floor. However, I have already laid a paving slab base (under the slabs is DPM and hardcore) which would mean wasted money and a lot of wasted energy !

    yep have a compressor. I have a brad nailer - I assume the finish nailer uses a heavier gauge than brads?

    Has anyone built their own timber shed lately? My metal shed that I have bought recently is for the bin! Thinking of building my own from pressure treated timber.
