    My Cyclone Build

Cyclones seem to be flavour of the month at the moment so I thought I'd post my build. Hopefully it will be a bit of a different build compared to others. Two of the main "ingredients" are going to be cardboard and masking tape - I kid you not, but I'm confident it will work, we'll have to wait...

Cyclone Flat Pack Kits now finalised & ready for production

I applaud you for making this happen, no mean feat I'd imagine =D> A suggestion for your "why do I need a cyclone section" - how about the fact it increases the collection capacity massively so needs less emptying? Regards Mark

    Cyclone Flat Pack Kit

What's the difference between the metal ducting touching the plastic cyclone and the metal ducting touching another conductor touching the plastic cyclone? Just trying to understand it. Understand the ducting itself you need to be grounded. Mark

    Spiral Ducting

Hi I have a couple of questions about this. Do the male and female connectors have specific uses? I did read in one place that one was for connecting the actual pipes together and one was for connecting the bends t pieces etc. Is this right? What is the best way to cut it and clean up the...

Sell and replace or keep and store ???????????

If your new house is secluded then the container is a good idea. However if someone moved in next to me and plonked one of them in the garden I would be mightily unimpressed. Mark

    What are these fixings called?

Guys Thanks for all the responses, especially those who have offered to supply me some. As they are so cheap, I'll go to screw fix and get a bag so I've always got some. Cheers Mark

    What are these fixings called?

And anyone know where to buy a handfull without a stupid postage charge? Drill a hole, wind the fixing in with an allen key, then can screw a bolt into the fixing. Cheers Mark

I'm impressed also. What is the construction process? When its rolled what happens to the seam, does it get in the way of a smooth airflow round the cyclone? Mark

If you go in the Cambridge shop, make sure you get served by the one legged guy called Woody (I think his actual name is George). Great guy and personally posted stuff onto me which was out of stock, off his own back, not my request. As for ordering stuff online I agree with the previous...
