Ive used the Appleby blades on my older Dewalt DW1150 and I can reassure you that the quality is absolutely fine - sorry I can't tell you whether they fit for sure - but I do suspect that do fit - but seek a bit more reassurance on that front before you buy! Maybe message the seller!

You only need a piece in front because you are cutting with the full width of the cutter - so as you start your cut you in effect have a point where the cutter enters the timber which is where you have zero tear out and then a point where the cutter exits the timber which is where you are seeing...
