    Tea Light candles - size

    I make quite a lot candle holders, mainly from scrap timber. Use a 38mm Forstner for the T-Candles, and depth according to what candles i buy. Generally use the 17mm depth. Find it extremely difficult to get 38mm bits. For the longer candles i use a 22mm Forstner. :D :D

    I am busy rebuilding an old scroll saw. Got a motor that runs at 1450rpm. Now need a pulley on the motor and two pulleys on the saw. How do i calculate the sizes of the 3 pulleys to get the right saw speed? The saw must run at 800rpm and 1275rpm. :D :D

    We get a lot of those types of letters here in SA addressed to companies from some "business man" / "Banker" etc. all from Nigeria. not laundering, just trying to get you to part with your money. think its called a "69" or something. :D :D

    Cast Iron or Aluminium?

    My saw has cast iron, Rockwell. very sturdy machine. For GBP5000 converted to ZAR, i could get excellent quality table saw, P/T, some excellent Festool hand tools, RAS, lathe, and have some change for a few lagers. send the 5000quid my way! :D :D
