Tell me what your choice would be!

Another +1 for Record. I've got the BS350 and had one issue which was the wheel kit, contacted Record and they sent out replacements parts straight away. 5 year guarantee can't ask much better than that. A very long time I bought from another tool from Lumberjack what a pile of cheap plastic...

    Tinted Silver Birch bowl 22cm x 13cm

Bit bright for me. But what is good is to see what other woods can look like with colour on them. All you seem to see on Youtube is coloured Ash or Sycamore. I've just done coloured London Plane, which I'm still un-decided about. Geoff

Richard Raffan woodturning videos on YouTube.

I watched one of his videos. I think he was explaining back hollowing, my god scary or what. But one comment he made was that making spoons he was having to make about 9 an hour to be in profit, WOW that is some going. Top man.

    Record Power

They are really good, on my bandsaw stand one of the wheels fell apart. Contacted RP with photos and they sent out replacement post haste, can't fault them.

    Axminster Craft vs Trade

This an email to Axminster ; Can you explain 'Company policy' regarding your 3 year warranty and the 100hrs a year 'Craft' label. As it has certainly put me off buying a 'Craft' machine namely spending £650 on the AC118CE, three years sounds great but then followed by the fact 'Craft' range is...

    Axminster Craft vs Trade

Thanks for the comments. 100hrs a year for something that is £650 is pretty poor to say the least. I've decided to wait for the W796 to come back into stock.
