    Would you walk up?

That is the same as the 'Gutter Hedgehog' already mentioned. Fine for dry large leaves but not a lot of good for wet ones, small leaves and/or moss.

    Would you walk up?

Unless you have a moss problem and then the bloody stuff starts attaching itself to the bristles on the 'gutter hedgehogs'!

Many thanks for the link. Now ordered one as I have lost count of the number of times that I have tried to fabricate a suitable scraper! :D

    Freestanding bath tap connector.

TBH we don't know if the OP has fully pressurised H&C water systems or if he is running from a storage tank in the roof hence my question a few posts ago asking him to measure the dia. of the hole in the brass flange that he was originally asking about. If he plans to fill a bath through 3/8"...

    Freestanding bath tap connector.

It looks like those are designed to screw into a female connector. There should be either a fibre or rubber washer that sits at the end of the brass 'flange' and seats itself on the bottom of the female connector when the chrome thread is screwed into it. Before you go any further can you...

    External wall tiles

Also quite possible that behind the tiles will be breeze blocks which are a lot cheaper to buy and lay than ordinary flettons or facing bricks. If you remove the tiles you will not have a weatherproof wall. How are the other houses finished externally?

    External wall tiles

Those look to be mighty chunky tiles on the porch roof!

Converting analogue video to PC files

I was under the impression that videos on Sky boxes are encrypted and can only be played with the box. Stand to be corrected though.
