    hi custard if the holes already drilled and the plug is turning remove it and shape a wooden plug and hammer it in the rougher the shape the better got me out of lots of trouble also a lot cheaper than buying different sized plugs

    hi just out of curiosity did you run the motor at all before you fitted the riving knife ? did a quick search on the net and that model has a 2.5 hp motor sometimes they need more than 13 amp to kick it over in which case it will need a dedicated 16 amp circuit and the requisite plugs and cabling

    sounds like the guides are too tight to the blade the blade needs to flex slightly in the kerf go to you tube and watch the video , bandsaw clinic with alan snodgrass the guy is amazing
