Don't know how sad I am but I used to tape all of these shows from the mid 90's. It used to be Jimmy Saville and then Fluff Freeman, Dale is pretty good though. As a result I have 60 x C90,s full of oldies! :D . So I play these on the cassette when I'm in the workshop. It doesn't...

    Pet hates.

Thought this was relevant Wizer: Councils must ditch 200 jargon words like "blue sky thinking", "stakeholder" and "incentivising" so ordinary people can understand them Business-speak phrases like "predictors of beaconicity" and "holistic governance" are off the menu if council workers want to...

Book case in Cherry veneered with Ash

OPJ, it was a sheet of Malaysian ply which cost £25. I used Ronseal "Trade" gloss varnish. Ironballs, the apparent join is in the production and the pink marks were already there, and this was the better side! Brian, The 625 is great, much better than the 615 I was used to. Mind you Wealden...

Book case in Cherry veneered with Ash

Well here is the finished item. As usual loads of mistakes and areas where it can be improved. Don't use MDF, Don't pin veneer to the mdf, it looks crap. Make sure you remove all glue from exposed surface, varnish doesn't cover it. Use biscuits for the shelves rather than routing out...

    Assault!

When I temped one Christmas in a Royal Mail sorting Office, it was instant dismissal if you were caught flicking elastic bands. Apparently a worker lost an eye through getting hit by one. Phil
