    Axminster TS-200 Saw Bench

It's a garage Byron, 16 x 9, I suppose it is a bit pretentious to call it a workshop  . I'll have 7 foot of usable space after jigging things around. The saw is 1200x880x550 mm and weighs 69 Kg. Mine came with extraction hoses from the safety cover and the base of the machine, that...

Dave, I've just took the the part off the saw and there is a definite bow in it , you can actually press the table in and there is twang as it goes back to the original shape  . It is pressed steel so I'm going to call APTC now. Phil I've updated my thread on the buying forum

It's really helped me Rich, much better than the crappy photos you get in the "manual" I got the table together, it was the guide that foxed me. Thanks Phil PS Any tips on how to get the bow out of the middle of the RH table?

    Research Project

Alan, you are very courteous in doing someone else's research for them :D . When I was at uni a few years back, some of the younger students couldn't be ar*ed doing the work and would try to get the more conscientious to do it for them.

I put mine together today and have left the sliding carriage off, besides taking up another foot at least, I couldn't figure how how it all fitted together. Beside which I'm pi**ed of with the right hand table, bowing in the middle. Love the induction motor though, very quiet. I'll...

    Disaster in the workshop!

Thanks Wizer. When you say you used the router to make the handle, did you use a 1/2 inch round over bit and then sand it smooth? Phil
