    Pricing advice

I pretty much agree with all the above comments. As a hobby turner, I to struggle to 'price' my work. As far as I can tell, almost all craft work, (esp wood for some reason), is always undervalued. Obviously, as we improve our skills and become more efficient, we can produce saleable work...

How to get touch up paint to blend nicely - tulipwood

I'm no expert, but would guess you'll need to use the same application technique. If sprayed and you can't, then POSSIBLE a gentle roll might work. Probably you'll need to at very least paint the whole door. MIGHT just about hide the touch up, but will depend on how the light hits it. Dr Bob...

    Getting rid of sawdust

My shavings groom the lathe, (but not the dust from sanding, although a little but it's no problem), gets put in e.g. floor bags, tea bag boxes, etc. Twist the end of the bags to contain them, then these are used as fire starters, (twisted, of course 😉), in the stove - pretty effective. Rest...

Do 16 amp plugs/sockets have fuses?

Thank you to all the sparky knowledgeable folk for their input - confirms what I already thought - best to just get a qualified electrician in - cost a tad more, but at least it should be correct and more importantly, safe. Cheers Greg

    Strange Shaped Leg

I am utterly inexperienced at therming, but I think Paul is right that it could be done - would it not be possible to achieve it if the blank is offset in the therming jig, so the required square section isn't touched during the turning? More than happy to be shot down on this one, of course 😳
