    Best paint for ...

Could you extract directly above the shower and duct it through the loft space and out? My brother did that and it works a treat. Another benefit of this, is you can use an online fan, so can be more powerful yet keep quiet in the room as it's in loft space Just a thought. 're humidistat...

Inside Bowl - Final Cut Problem

Agree with Chas, but bit late for that now. It may help to support the outside of the rim with your free hand CAREFULLY as you take very gentle cuts inside

    Best paint for ...

Move house? It's no help, but I can't think of anything other than diversions already made. Is it a colder corner? We have one, that always peels first, condensation gathers there, etc

Do you reuse paint brushes and rollers?

I clean and reuse. Rollers- if no squeegee, disposable gloves, squeeze squeezed length. Then into a bucket of water. Sluice around. Drain, refill and leave for a bit if you have no time to finish rinsing out. After fully rinsed by hand, into washing machine on rinse, no detergent. The spin...

A birch shall have to be felled

If you're likely to turn it, that should be fine. If you plank it, you're committed to that thickness

A birch shall have to be felled

General rule is to keep it as long as possible for as long as possible and split or saw it in half down the length, so you have long half logs. Seal the ends with whatever you have around- was, sealant, paint, pva glue - anything to slow down drying and therefore splitting. Under cover, air...

    My Cookbook

That's a good shout, Steve. The missus and I always trying to remember where we saw what recipe. We've resorted to a little notebook that lists them by type, with a reference to where they are from and any mods we made. Thanks for sharing - we'll give it a go. Greg

What is this 'grind' and tool for?

It LOOKS like a bowl gouge with a slightly odd grind. To be sure it's strong enough to be a bowl gouge, check the bar goes all the way into the handle and it's NOT got a flattened tang. I've only got one bowl gouge, so have ground it swept back, so it can doesn't catch so easily and can be...

That's why I'd be wary. Genuinely wouldn't trust the big A with a barge pole (hammer)

    Laying Veneer Flooring

Though do bear in mind, doors will need planing, (bottom, not top! DAMHIK  ) And put at least a thin underlay between layers, otherwise it'll be a very loud clacking sound if any undulations.

    calling all bakers ...

Gotcha. Take a look at that Chef Rachida on YouTube. Really straightforward and no kneading - just a stretch and fold technique. I've been adjusting down the hydration a little at a time, as she must be in drier conditions, so needs a wetter mixture. My loaves don't hold their shape well...
