    Unknown eucalyptus

Get the pieces you're keeping split asap - they will crack, split, twist and challenge you at every turn. Can be beautiful, though. Whatever you do it will probably warp massively. It does burn, but be attentive if on an open fire - the sap spits and spurts all over the show

    "Harbo" - Sad News

Sad news indeed. I hope his family take comfort from knowing he had friends amongst the online community.

Before I buy PAR hardwood from G&S online.. would you recommend me to look somewhere else?

    Finish over Sharpie

As I understand it from my neice, you move one per e.g. 10 paces, then each set you move one of the small set, a bit like an abacus (or rosary , if you're feeling holy). There are YT videos explaining it.

    Sorby Patriot or RP SC4

I've got 2 versa chucks and an old super nova. Much prefer the Versa. Not only reason, but the key turning righty tighty, rather than left to tighten jaws just seems more sensible.

    Jewellery findings

Hi folks I'm wanting to turn some jewellery and wondered if anyone knows of a good reliable source of sterling silver or real gold findings, like clasps, studs, etc? i.e. not cheapo tat that will tarnish and potentially give user issues. TIA Greg

I like the bowl shape, but personal choice, not so keen on the feature bit. But clearly skilled, good sir!
