    Pallet idea

    Picked up a pallet at a neighbours house (freebie) I have got a use for it in the garden but......... I reckon if a board like chipboard was cut and placed on the top and four legs for the corners it would make a worktop. Just another palette idea?

    Got something to make. That last purchase the Aldi bandsaw cut 5ft lengths off that plywood from a 3ft width and it did not need its cut edge cleaned up. Being made off my head so leave you to guess what it is?

    I am eighty today. It also appears I got an additional gift of life for this occasion, telepathy. I woke at 5am this morning and decided to make an urgent trip and on the way I thought that's our Telephone ringing. It turned out to be a cousin ringing from OZ., I would not had heard the call...

    Are members aware of posting pictures of their workshop and tools that criminals scour the web looking for prospects, some members on this forum have been burgled more than once. This as come up on another forum interest of mine where expensive items are referred to so the criminal knows there...

    Cross cut sled on a single mitre slot??

    Perhaps you can arrange an edge of table guide to your sled, I used one on my old axminster saw and inaddition it held underneath the edge as well.

    I got into the swing of mitres in box at corners (those tissue boxes) over the period of 7 years there were hardly any failures. They were cut on a tablesaw horizontally and blade 45%. The major points were wood block stops and the sliding table that relied on the mitre guide plus the table...
