It locks the handle onto the tailstock, it's tempered steel, I suppose I could ask our local metalsmith, I don't have any tools for metal...

I guess for me it's difficult to just acquire products like coloured filler, here in the Spanish countryside I have to use simple and readily available products..... It's an experiment, I'm always prepared for failure 😂

I find the combination of wood dust/shavings and Epoxy... The pigment can change quite a bit, just interested to see if the chalk is more stable.....

Thought I'd try mixing ground up chalk with 5 minute epoxy as a small gap/crack filler, I'm also going to try mixing the chalk with PVA .... I'll post results.....
