Depends how big ones doll is, some are life size, ... Anyway this approx 90cm x 60cm, (the exact proportions of a tape cassette) the black wood is tinted pine, it was a commission for someone who likes retro, kitch things, her house is very interesting and not boring at all.

Glass topped coffee table, tape is made from sliced almond disks.

On the side j do have a 4 way socket, the wire in the photo is the main power cable and the trailing hairdryer lead.

This is my mad looking lathe stand on wheels as all my turning is done outside, equipped with a hairdryer for blowing crap away, a fan for cooling me off and a lamp, all my doodads and accessories are close by... 😀

I've yet to try Tulip wood, in fact I've not really tried many woods in my 2 years of turning but look forward to exploring.... Very nice natural yarn bowl... People tend to like them even if they're not sure what they are 😀

They were sliced about 3 weeks ago, before they were sliced they were reading on the meter 15% moisture, from my experience with Olive (the wood I use most) it remains pretty stable unlike many woods..Also I'm not shipping them off to my customer for a while so I can keep an eye on them....

Experimental Ply pots, I found a load of Ply, a few scraps of Ipe and this strange black resin like stuff at the dump so I chucked it all up.....finished with Shellac...

From the photo the Oak does indeed look a little textured in comparison but it's smooth due to a water based sealer available here in Spain, it's cheap and works pretty well..

Well the Oak is only there because I ripped a hole through the bottom... Also all my wood is from firewood so I'm a little limited with colour,. Cheers
