Dark container lines made with grooves filled with coffee grounds and superglue, rocks hand drawn using Polychromos & Prismacolor pencils, finished with a heavy lacquer

Experimental piece, turned from tinted Oak with an Ipe foot and collar, finial is made from an old chisel handle, I was intrigued how it would turn... very nicely but boy what a strange substance, a bit like really hard translucent rubber and the smell !!! Like chemical dog poo...

Hi Mike G, critique can be tricky yes and I'm certainly no expert, I suppose if I genuinely find the end result of something unappealing I don't say anything unless there is a certain element in technique that I find intriguing..

Thanks, it was a fun project, the only thing I didn't enjoy was the MDF dust, it's nice stuff to carve but boy is it messy and nasty... I don't use it anymore.....

Carved from MDF and hand drawn using Colour pencils..same size as a full size bass guitar.
