My problem with many of the machines I've seen on auction sites is that they are too far away to view. I would not buy this type of product without seeing it working first. Been caught out before with dishonest sellers.

I think that used prices are going through the roof at the moment due to problems of getting new machines.

There is one on eBay for £695. Is that a reasonable price. Can 3 phrase be converted to single.

Sad that today this country of 55 million people are incapable of producing quality machines and many other items that we need. I live next door to Draper and on their gates they have "quality tools". May be in the past but not sure that is true today.

I have been looking at the Hammer machines. A completely different ball game to the cheaper models. They may cost twice the price but if taken care of they look like will last a lifetime.

I saw a record power 250bs for £330 when they only cost £299 new? You do have to be careful.

This looks similar to the draper machine. I was down at machine mart on Friday and looked at the Clark entry bench top bandsaw cbs225 looked flimsy to me. I was put off by the plastic saw guide.

I find many of the reviews I have seen on YouTube a bit frustrating with many of them connected to Amazon or other company sales. I am really looking for reviews from crafts people that have been using bandsaws for many years. People on a popular auction site seem to be paying a lot of money...

Well you will of course need a new computer to go with the latest software. That is two more new tools to keep from the Mrs 😸.

Be interested to know what bandsaw folks use and what they think of it. I have been looking at draper, record power and Axminster. All made in China of course. Don't know of any British made ones these days.
