Anyone use an electric planer. Never had one so would like some advice on which one to buy. I want to mainly use it on reclaimed wood.

Does any one know the likely cost of having a template, say 600mm x 600mm, made. Of text only.

It will have to be a duplicator, as I will have several lines of small text to cope with. I already have something in mind. Been looking at a number of YouTube videos to get ideas. Thanks for the input.

There is a company that makes them here in the UK but they are expensive for hobby work. https://cloneduplicators.uk/ I think I could make a simple machine that would do the job. Might have a go😀

Will not be any good as you can only do one letter at a time then you have to reset the machine.

I am looking at a copy carver, which may allow me manually to do this. What do you think?

How long do these Chinese motors last? Are there any European alternatives?

I believe that both motors have an option of er16.

I am also looking at this plus the AMB (kess) milling motor. Both are from Germany. If anyone uses either of them, what do you think about the product. These are not routers but purposely made milling motors.
