    wash it down first with water, [warm] then a dilute solution of van **** crystals, re do to get your desired tone, then de nib and seal with a diluted sealer of one's choice [ best imho is Morrels/Jenkins sanding sealers] then de nib again and apply BLO or Danish oil. have fun...

    I was busy laying out my new timbers for the Sttraw bales, hopefully should have them cut and fixed tomorrow and if it stays this mild I may even get a coat of primer on :D

    welll finally the hole is closed, by that I mean I have installed the water butts all of 5000 l, thesse will supply the toilets and washing maschine, here is a close up of the joists, which are 8 x 16 cm, on 650mm centers to allow for 600mm EPS sheets between to insulate the floor.
