    Good website for screws?

As title says, looking for a good cheap supplier of screws. Where do you guys get yours from? I usually pick mine up from local Ironmongers but if I can get them cheaper online I will do. Ta!

    Smallish router

Hi there, I've just replied to another thread on small routers. I'm Very annoyed as my SECOND T4 of the YEAR has just died on me, halfway through cutting biscuit grooves! After having a quick flick through my latest woodworking mag review on routers, and flicking through the net, seems you...

    Small routers

I'm on my second T4 in about 12 months and it has just died on me. Ridiculous. hardly used this one. The motor blew up on the last one. Trend will repair for free but i'm going to sell the next one as new and go with a bosch. Totally garbage!

    Domino 700

I had definitely clamped the work and checked several times it was tighter than a gaitors grip! I would normally cut mortices first when using a 'fixed' tennon, as I know the top and bottom rails can be finely adjusted depending on how the rebates turn out. I've always thought (possibly...

    Domino 700

Actually I barely wrote any pro's, Everything else is great, weight, dust extraction, smoothness etc. It's too easy to write pro's about festool. People who are really thinking about buying one will want to know the cons.

    Festool pricing

Well my local branch got in touch today and said "your domino is ready for collection, and also it worked out cheaper than we originally said, so I'm sure we can throw in a couple of extras for you" Extras? What sort of extras? An overpriced baseball hat are you kidding me? I want cold hard...

How do you work outside in the winter?

Having your tools stolen is one thing. But the chance of someone rolling away with your entire workshop would push any man to suicide! £130 is cheap! Why don't you find someone who is willing to go in with you? Someone who also wants a workshop or just a place for storage? As for working in...

    Would this be stable?

By all means biscuit join the top pieces as joining edges is essentially what biscuits are for. As for using them to join the rails to the legs, I would say no. Why don't you mortice the legs (by hand if needs be), and us a thinner stock for the apron and just slot them in directly. No need...

Advice - how much would this cost?

+ 1 Then you still have to pay to get it upholstered and a finishing coat on it. Not worth it. however if you do want it making my number is ........

    Festool pricing

I'd be a disgruntled purchaser. But that's exactly the kind of thing that happens to me on a DAILY BASIS AAARRGGGGHHHH!!!
