    Caution - Banggood delivery charge

Totally agree that it is not hidden, but just wanted to add a warning - I can not believe that all those who have purchased actually have noticed! As an aside, which mitre guide would people recommend? Like the look of the Kreg but quite expensive....

    Caution - Banggood delivery charge

Almost ordered Drill Pro Brass Handled Mitre with Alu bar for £63.34 - a product I would want and a good price. 3 weekish delivery from China which for almost every other product is free but this item had a £71.77 delivery charge listed further down the page. Would have been easy to miss -...

Would you recommend Medite for making a MFT work top? If not what would be the best material please?

    Banggood / Drillpro Tools

I am also worried about ordering from China direct. The Uk based stock seems very limited so I will now take your advice and look for sales from UK based people who add a reasonable mark up. Can I ask what you search for ? By that I mean do you still search for Drill Pro items by name?

    Shed floor insulation (not workshop)

Totally agree with the use of breathable membranes and not allowing windows to be a source of condensation. Really looking for members thoughts on the temp of an concrete slabs as an anti freeze method. Yes the air temp on top of the concrete may drop but the temp below the slab will always be...

    Shed floor insulation (not workshop)

Your thoughts appreciated..... Need to build a lean to shed that will just be used for storage and not worked in and will have no heating.. My thoughts are it would be better to have have concrete floor with a DPC and no insulation. I think that this would make the shed less likely to go...

Axminster AC 216 or AC 254 Table Saw?

BP 122. I assume that your TS is the newer Craft range and not the older Hobby. I had thought that with the way it had been designed it would not have faults I would have associated this less well regarded makes! Your blade wobble is actually more of a concern - can I ask if it prevents a...

Axminster AC 216 or AC 254 Table Saw?

Thanks both. Having owned a big Schappach quality table saw I understand the advantages of solid kit. I previously had a biggish band saw and only retained my small Inca model. (Nice but small!) I have been pontificating about the tools I need for 3 months now and somewhat frustrated by not...

Axminster AC 216 or AC 254 Table Saw?

Thanks for the replies. Can you suggest a saw that is similar size and dB level that I should look for 2nd hand? Agree that bigger is better, the balance is noise and when I can use it against sometimes(?) not being able to cut larger wood.

Axminster AC 216 or AC 254 Table Saw?

Setting up a workshop in a single garage and trying to decided which table saw to get. Will be using a track saw for sheet work but have always had a Table Saw and really like using them. The Axminster models seem to fit my budget and space available plus with induction motors are much quieter...

Firewood, now the rules are changing, today’s delivery.

There are plans on the web for solar drying using old double glazed patio doors Basically, air gap at bottom and top, sun heats up storage area behind the glass and air pulled in the bottom as area heats up and expels at the top taking dampness with it. You can usually get old double glazing...

Track vs circular saw + track vs Kreg Accu cut??????

Thanks for the responses. The track saw system will initially be used for the garage improvements and after for cutting down large sheet material. I have a covered space at the back of the garage and the plan is to use my 4 plastic saw benches and cut out their before bringing it into the...
