First impressions are that its feels great, sounds different but people have reported it cuts much better with the thinner blade. It was purchased from amazon of all places and was on the Festool promotion for £433.40 with two 5.2 amp bluetooth batteries, cheapest i have seen anywhere.

Thanks Triton, no need to apologise i appreciate you explaining it. The thing is i could still do a compound mitre with the TSK80 and the sliding table. I am also a little concerned with the size of blade as i cant see many aftermarket ones.

Hi Ferenc, no i wanted to change to something a bit newer. I like the newer dewalt with the easing riving knife change etc and the Festool are really nice.
