    Coffee beans recommendation?

I treated myself to an upgrade from my pod machine a year or so ago and I haven't looked back. After much research, I went for the gaggia classic and a hand grinder, from when they were made in italy. Coffee (particularly espresso) is a rabbit hole though and it would be easy to believe that my...

    Resin filled table tops

What I do like about both is being able to use wood that would previously have been discarded. I accept that sometimes trees need to be felled, particularly street trees but we have a duty not to waste resources.

    Resin filled table tops

they seem to last. I presume that the epoxy glues the splits back together and then the top moves as one. Either that or the wooden part is on the edge and it is similar to a breadboard end which is only fixed in the middle. are you thinking of making one?

    How to prove...

whilst the above is probably correct that the burden of proof is on them to prove that it is you, this isnt a scientific proof, or courtroom stuff it is about making your life easier. I had a problem some years back where a debt collection agency had found me and would not accept that they had...

Suggestion: member categories on profiles (casual/committed/professional/etc)

I try to give a qualified answer when giving a response- eg I have read about this but not done it, I have done it, I have done this countless times etc. If we are talking about a tool, my usage over a year doesn't match a professionals weekly use. My procurement of useless gadgets however is...

1930s fireplace timber, trying to match

You don't need a huge amount of equipment but you need some outside space and the outside temp at this time of year isn't ideal. Whether it is even suitable is questionable I have only ever done it in late spring or summer.

Hobby packs - good value ?

Work out a cut list. You will need this anyway. At this stage, it may be more of a panel list, so top is 2ft X 10ft X (1/12)ft, shelf, bottom and back the same. Front near enough the same. Whatever the ends are, PLUS WASTAGE. Add it up for an idea.
