these clamps must be new to the uk market. I looked a few months back and they got good ratings in a FWW magazine test but you couldn't get them here. Interestingly they do a 450mm which Bessey do not. 600mm is a bit big for much of what I need, and 300mm just a bit small.

I think that this is why I value my extension the most. Yeah, sometimes i need to turn long items but generally it is getting the tailstock out if the way.
