chasing down obscure threads for accessories can get expensive in terms of time and money.

if you dont get lucky with finding one fairly quickly, I would probably look at a drive centre that will fit into your chuck and bypass the problem. eg ViperDC 4 Prong Drive Centre for Lathe Chucks (not sure whether it is a universal fit, or needs a specific chuck)

it isnt unknown for the manufacturers to change spec over time but keep the same model numbers, so you may well be right with what you have but it is an older spec. sealey sl-1000 wood lathe may also be a possibility.

I was more concerned about the strength of the riveted joint than the riveter. if you do use this leveller, sit down before you look at the price of a ready made one. the proper term is a lawn lute.
